Hammer Throw

Zhenchang Duanmu established herself as one of Candas' most accomplished field athletes during five productive seasons with the club between S93 and S97. Competing principally in the hammer throw while also excelling in the discus, javelin and shot put, she developed into a consistent championship performer whose achievements extended well beyond league competition. Her breakthrough came with victory in the Individual National Championships shot put in S94 before adding four further national silver medals across the following seasons. She also collected two silver medals at the Club Regional Championships, underlining her reliability whenever major honours were on offer.

A defining moment of Duanmu's Candas career came in S95 when she set the club discus throw record with 41.38, a landmark achievement that secured her place among the club's leading performers. Her personal bests of 45.34 in the hammer throw, 44.39 in the discus, 40.60 in the javelin and 11.44 in the shot put demonstrated impressive versatility across the throwing events. Regular appearances at the Continental U21 Championships further enhanced her reputation before her competitive career came to an end during S106, leaving behind a distinguished legacy worthy of Hall of Fame recognition.

200 Metres

Carla Mair has developed into one of Candas' most valuable athletes through sustained improvement and versatility across the sprint and hurdles events. Since beginning her competitive career with the club in Season 93, she has built an impressive record of consistent performances in league and championship competition while remaining a key member of the current squad. Her finest achievement came in Season 106 when she established the club record for the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:07.41. Alongside that landmark performance she has produced personal bests of 1:01.78 for 400 Meters and 26.55 for 200 Meters, reflecting her ability to compete successfully across multiple disciplines.

Mair has also represented Candas beyond domestic competition, appearing at the World Junior Championships and gaining valuable international experience early in her career. At championship level she has earned four silver medals and one bronze, including three Club Regional Championship silver medals, one Club Regional Championship bronze and an Individual Regional Championship silver. Consistent National League success has further strengthened her Hall of Fame credentials, while her continued presence in the Candas squad means there is every opportunity for her list of achievements to grow in the seasons ahead.

400 Metres

Nino Cantero became one of the athletes who helped establish Candas during the club's early seasons, making a significant contribution across more than a decade of competition. After joining from Deus Sive Natura in Season 91, he developed into a dependable performer whose finest achievement came in Season 102 when he set the club record for the 400 Meters with a time of 53.93. He also produced personal bests of 25.70 for 200 Meters, 12.65 for 100 Meters and 20.00 for 110 Hurdles, demonstrating both speed and versatility throughout his years with the club.

Cantero's championship success came primarily at the Club Regional Championships, where he secured one gold medal and six silver medals while consistently contributing to Candas' growing reputation. His league performances were equally important, earning regular podium finishes and helping the club build a competitive foundation during its formative years. Across twelve seasons representing Candas, he established himself as a reliable and valuable member of the squad through sustained performances and record-setting ability. His competitive career concluded in Season 103, leaving behind a lasting legacy built on commitment, consistency and achievements that earned him a deserved place in the Candas Hall of Fame.

3000m Steeplechase

Shaun Hopkin has become one of Candas' most dependable endurance athletes, making a sustained contribution since beginning his competitive career with the club in Season 92. Specialising in the 3000 Steeplechase, he has steadily developed into a consistent performer across league and championship competition while also producing strong performances over 1500 Meters and 800 Meters. His most significant achievement came in Season 106 when he established the club record for the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 12:42.16. Personal bests of 4:24.80 for 1500 Meters and 2:14.27 for 800 Meters further demonstrate the strength and versatility that have characterised his career.

Hopkin has combined record-setting performances with regular championship success, earning a gold medal and three silver medals at the Club Regional Championships together with an Individual Regional Championship silver medal. His consistency in National League competition has also produced numerous podium finishes, reflecting the important role he continues to play within the Candas squad. Still competing at the highest level for the club, he remains one of its leading distance athletes, with his achievements already securing his place among the club's Hall of Fame candidates while leaving scope for further success in the seasons ahead.

5000 Metres

Fiona Kane has developed into one of Candas' leading endurance runners since beginning her competitive career with the club in Season 93. Excelling over the longer distances, she has combined consistency with steady improvement to become a cornerstone of the club's distance squad. Her finest achievement came in Season 106 when she established the club record for the 5000 Meters with a time of 18:05.87. She has also produced outstanding personal bests of 2:54:52.04 for the Marathon and 41:26.12 for the 10000 Meters, demonstrating both endurance and versatility while competing regularly across the club's distance programme.

Her championship performances have brought further distinction to her Candas career. Kane has collected three silver medals and one bronze medal at the Club Regional Championships together with an Individual Regional Championship silver medal, while her consistently strong National League performances have yielded numerous podium finishes over successive seasons. Still an active member of the Candas squad, she continues to add to an already impressive record of achievement and remains one of the club's most influential distance athletes. With a club record and sustained championship success already to her name, her Hall of Fame credentials continue to strengthen with every season.

110m Hurdles

Mackenzie Ridgers has become one of Candas' most accomplished hurdlers since beginning his competitive career with the club in Season 94. His progress has been built on consistent improvement across the sprint hurdles and flat sprint events, culminating in Season 106 when he established the club record for the 110 Hurdles with a time of 18.75. Alongside that landmark performance, he achieved personal bests of 26.26 for 200 Meters, 57.73 for 400 Meters and 1:09.01 for the 400 Hurdles, illustrating the versatility that has made him an important member of the Candas squad throughout his career.

Ridgers has complemented his record-setting achievements with regular championship success. He has claimed two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal at the Club Regional Championships, while also adding an Individual Regional Championship silver medal to his honours. His consistent performances in National League competition have produced a long sequence of podium finishes, reflecting the reliability that has characterised his contribution to the club. Still competing for Candas, he continues to build upon an already distinguished career, with his combination of championship success, club-record achievement and sustained performances securing his place among the club's Hall of Fame candidates.
