Kara Goodwillie
Heptathlete
Kara Goodwillie established herself as one of Catalytical AC’s most accomplished combined-events athletes and a dominant force within East of England competition. A lifelong Catalytical athlete, she built an impressive career around the heptathlon, securing 17 regional championship gold medals while also collecting three national silver medals and three national bronze medals. Her place in club history was secured in Season 94 when she set the club record for the Heptathlon Long Jump with a mark of 4.35 metres. Goodwillie regularly competed at the highest levels of the sport, appearing at World Championships, Continental Championships and Continental Masters Championships. Her personal best of 6,246 points in the heptathlon demonstrated her all-round athletic ability, while strong performances in javelin, shot put and hurdles made her one of the most complete athletes ever produced by Catalytical AC. Her consistency and longevity earn a deserved Hall of Fame place.
Steven McCafferty
10,000m Runner
Steven McCafferty ranks among the finest endurance runners in Catalytical AC history. Spending virtually his entire career with the club, he became a dominant figure in East of England competition, winning 15 regional championship titles while also collecting three national silver medals and four national bronze medals. His defining achievement came in Season 95 when he established the club record for 10,000 metres with an outstanding time of 32:22.24. McCafferty consistently represented Catalytical AC at the highest level, competing at Olympic Games, World Championships and national championships throughout his career. His endurance credentials were further demonstrated by personal bests of 15:24.99 for 5,000 metres and 2:36:22.78 for the marathon. A dependable performer who delivered success year after year, McCafferty became one of the club’s most respected distance athletes and a worthy Hall of Fame inductee.
Danielle Ward
Sprint Hurdler
Danielle Ward brought championship success and national-level quality to Catalytical AC following her arrival from Angel Team in Season 91. Specialising in the sprint hurdles, she quickly established herself among Britain’s leading athletes in her discipline. Ward secured an impressive medal collection of 11 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal, including two Individual National Championship titles and nine regional championship victories. Her finest moment came in Season 97 when she set the Catalytical AC club record for the 400 metres hurdles with an excellent time of 1:04.54. Ward regularly represented the club at World Championships and Olympic Games while consistently reaching national finals. Her personal bests of 18.93 for the 100m hurdles and 1:01.56 for the flat 400m highlighted her versatility and speed. Through sustained excellence and championship success, she earned her place among Catalytical AC’s greatest athletes.
Leo Watt
400m Hurdles
Leo Watt established herself as one of Catalytical AC's most dependable hurdlers and championship performers. A versatile athlete who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles, Watt enjoyed a long and successful career that brought considerable success at regional level. She collected 16 regional championship gold medals and two silver medals while regularly qualifying for national championship finals. Her personal best of 1:02.00 for the 400 metres hurdles demonstrated the quality that made her one of the club's leading performers in the event. Consistent across many seasons and always capable of delivering points in major competitions, Watt became a respected figure within the club. Through sustained excellence, championship success and long-term contribution to Catalytical AC, she earned her place among the club's Hall of Fame athletes.
Stuart Slater
Marathon runner
Stuart Slater became one of Catalytical AC's standout endurance athletes during a distinguished career spanning almost two decades. A lifelong club athlete, he amassed an impressive medal collection of 18 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals, including three Individual National Championship titles. Best known for his marathon running, Slater consistently competed among Britain's leading endurance athletes and recorded an outstanding personal best of 2:07:46.23 at the Olympic Games. He also represented the club at World Championships, Continental Championships and multiple Olympic Games, demonstrating exceptional longevity at the highest level. Combining championship success, international appearances and elite endurance performances, Slater built one of the most accomplished careers in Catalytical AC history and earned a deserved place in the Hall of Fame.
Morgan Nicholson
800m runner
Morgan Nicholson developed into one of Catalytical AC's strongest middle-distance athletes after joining from The B Team. Specialising in the 800 metres, he established himself as a consistent performer at both regional and national level, earning eight regional championship gold medals alongside silver and bronze medals in higher-level competition. His personal best of 2:00.80 for 800 metres demonstrated his quality over two laps, while a 4:13.22 performance for 1500 metres highlighted his endurance and versatility. Nicholson regularly challenged strong opposition and remained competitive throughout his career, building a reputation as a reliable middle-distance performer. Through championship success, consistency and years of contribution to Catalytical AC, he takes his place among the club's Hall of Fame athletes.
Phoebe Hinchcliffe
All round thrower
Phoebe Hinchcliffe stands among the most decorated athletes ever to represent Catalytical AC. A powerful and versatile thrower, she amassed an exceptional medal haul of 18 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals, including four World U21 Championship gold medals, a Continental U21 title and nine Individual National Championship victories. Her place in club history was secured in Season 98 when she established the club hammer throw record with a mark of 57.06 metres. Hinchcliffe’s achievements extended far beyond a single event, recording personal bests of 72.78 metres in discus, 59.10 metres in javelin and 19.19 metres in shot put. She regularly represented the club at Olympic Games, World Championships and Continental Championships, competing against the sport’s elite athletes. Her extraordinary success and international achievements make her one of Catalytical AC’s true legends.
Jenna Brewster
Combined events
Jenna Brewster developed entirely through the Catalytical AC system and became one of the club’s leading combined-events athletes. Her career spanned from Season 86 through to Season 104, during which she secured ten regional championship titles while also collecting national silver and bronze medals. Brewster established her place in the club record books in Season 98 when she set the Pentathlon High Jump club record with a clearance of 1.08 metres. A versatile athlete capable of scoring strongly across every discipline, she achieved a personal best of 5,176 points in the heptathlon and 4,201 points in the pentathlon. Her strengths in hurdles, middle-distance running and throwing events made her a consistent contender at national championships. Through dedication, longevity and all-round excellence, Brewster became one of Catalytical AC’s most respected combined-event competitors.
Caitlin Brotherston
Sprint specialist
Caitlin Brotherston earned her place among Catalytical AC’s Hall of Fame inductees through years of consistent sprinting success. A lifelong club athlete, she dominated regional competition, winning 14 gold medals and adding a further silver medal to her collection. Her defining achievement came in Season 98 when she established the Catalytical AC club record for 200 metres with an outstanding time of 24.57 seconds. Brotherston regularly represented the club at national championships, reaching multiple finals and competing against Britain’s leading sprinters. Her personal best of 13.44 seconds for 100 metres demonstrated the speed that made her such a formidable competitor over the shorter distances. Dependable, consistent and fiercely competitive, Brotherston became one of the key figures in Catalytical AC’s sprinting programme and a worthy member of the club’s Hall of Fame.
Noah Blackley
Discus Thrower
Noah Blackley became one of Catalytical AC’s most reliable throwing specialists during a career that stretched from Season 84 to Season 100. A product of the club’s own development system, he established himself as a dominant regional competitor, collecting 14 East of England championship gold medals. His finest achievement came in Season 98 when he set the Catalytical AC discus throw club record with a mark of 55.50 metres. Blackley regularly qualified for national championships and consistently ranked among the stronger throwers in British competition. Alongside his discus success, he achieved personal bests of 53.07 metres in the javelin and 30.76 metres in the hammer throw, demonstrating impressive versatility. Through years of commitment, consistency and championship success, Blackley became a cornerstone of the club’s throwing programme and a deserving Hall of Fame inductee.
Callum Mulgrew
Steeplechaser
Callum Mulgrew enjoyed a distinguished career as one of Catalytical AC’s leading distance runners and steeplechasers. Spending nearly two decades with the club, he amassed a medal collection of 12 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals, including a Continental Junior Championship title. Mulgrew secured his place in club history in Season 99 when he established the Catalytical AC record for the 3000 metres steeplechase with a time of 12:01.75. A consistent performer at both regional and national level, he regularly qualified for Individual National Championship finals while dominating East of England competition. His personal best of 4:29.15 for 1500 metres further highlighted his endurance capabilities. Through determination, longevity and championship success, Mulgrew became one of the club’s most dependable distance athletes and a worthy Hall of Fame member.
Rebecca Ennis
Marathon runner
Rebecca Ennis completes the Catalytical AC Hall of Fame class as one of the club’s most accomplished marathon runners. A lifelong Catalytical athlete, she spent more than twenty seasons representing the club and became a dominant force within East of England competition, collecting 14 regional championship gold medals and an additional silver medal. Her defining achievement came in Season 99 when she established the club marathon record with a superb time of 2:35:36.69. Ennis consistently represented Catalytical AC at national championships and regularly finished among Britain’s leading marathon runners. Her endurance credentials were further demonstrated by personal bests of 39:37.67 for 10,000 metres and 19:37.26 for 5,000 metres. Through years of loyal service, consistency and record-breaking performances, Ennis secured her place among the greatest athletes in Catalytical AC history.
